Responsibilities
- Create designs such as user interfaces, design systems, layouts, brand identity, iconography, and presentation narratives.
- Craft Japanese and English typography.
- Integrate AI and emerging tools into the design process to enhance creativity and execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external design teams.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Contribute and maintain design systems.
- Deliver clear, inspirational and effective communications to teams/client.
- Demonstrate passion for clients and their business.
Requirements
- Are currently living in Japan and able to communicate in Japanese and English.
- 2+ years experience of interface and brand design.
- Proficiency in design software including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace and emerging AI tools.
- Outstanding presentation and written communication in both Japanese and English.
- Passion for innovation and craft as well as experimentation with technology.
- Motion skills are a plus.
- Are genuinely curious.
- Are eager to learn with from our diverse international team, across multiple disciplines.
- Are proactive in upskilling yourself on new tools and processes.
- Want to develop world-class UI craft.
- Are a design fundamentalist that knows the rules, but knows how to bend and break them to create innovative solutions.
- Have impeccable craft with an eye for detail and a contemporary design style.
