Seeking a skilled and experienced Biomedical Scientist for a private laboratory in London, focusing on Histology with strong routine histopathology and microtomy skills.
Responsibilities
- Support a busy histopathology laboratory.
- Perform routine microtomy to a consistently high standard.
- Assist with embedding, staining and slide quality control as required.
- Work accurately while supporting laboratory turnaround times.
- Follow laboratory protocols and health and safety standards.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Previous experience working within Histology/Cellular Pathology.
- Strong practical experience in microtomy.
- Experience of routine histopathology techniques.
