About the Role

The Digital Career Institute (DCI) is a leading provider of digital further education in Germany, helping individuals transition into new careers by connecting education, the job market, and companies. We are seeking a Teacher (m/f/d) for Financial Accounting (FiBu) & DATEV to support our online classes Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Teach the fundamentals of financial accounting and controlling to beginners using a defined curriculum.
Provide practical training in using DATEV, focusing on booking processes, document entry, and reporting.
Instruct on key accounting topics such as double-entry bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, VAT, and preparation for the year-end closing.
Motivate and provide individual support to participants, fostering a positive learning atmosphere in online classes.
Document learning progress, collaborate closely with learning and career teams, and contribute to the development of learning content.

Requirements

Solid knowledge of financial accounting and controlling, acquired through relevant training, studies, or further education.
Proficiency in DATEV accounting software, particularly in current financial accounting and booking processes, is required.
Practical professional experience in accounting, financial accounting, or a tax firm.
Ability to convey complex accounting concepts clearly, practically, and engagingly to beginners.
Enjoy working with people, openness to digital collaboration, and very good German and sufficient English language skills.
