About the Role
Serve as the BlackLine project manager and functional design lead in implementations, acting as a seasoned advisor to clients on enabling processes within BlackLine and guiding them through the implementation lifecycle. This role requires coordination with cross-functional client representatives and internal resources, leveraging deep expertise in BlackLine products, intercompany processes, finance operating models, and finance transformation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the BlackLine project manager and functional design lead in implementations.
- Act as a seasoned advisor to clients on enabling processes in BlackLine.
- Guide clients through the implementation process.
- Coordinate with cross-functional client representatives (Controllership, Finance, Tax, Treasury, etc.) and internal BlackLine resources.
- Capture pain points, prioritize objectives, and gain cross-functional alignment on recommended solutions and roadmaps.
- Lead workshops and align business processes.
- Configure the BlackLine application.
- Guide clients on successful implementations.
- Navigate escalations and influence stakeholders with strategic direction.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, service, and product organizations to expand pipeline and close deals.
