About the Role
As a Senior FX Sales Executive, you will expand DIGITEC's presence by acquiring new clients and developing strategic business opportunities within the FX market. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and introduce DIGITEC's innovative FX solutions to banks and financial institutions. This role is ideal for a proactive, commercially driven sales professional who thrives on identifying opportunities, building a pipeline, and making a direct impact on international growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities with banks and financial institutions, with a strong focus on new logo acquisition.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery meetings to product demonstrations, negotiations, and contract signing.
- Establish relationships with senior decision-makers across FX Trading, Treasury, Technology, and other relevant business areas.
- Identify market opportunities and develop effective strategies to expand DIGITEC's presence.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations, translating complex FX technology into clear business value.
- Collaborate closely with global Sales, Product, and Client Services teams to develop tailored solutions and ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Represent DIGITEC at client meetings, industry conferences, and networking events to strengthen our visibility within the FX community.
- Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and client feedback to support our commercial and product strategies.
- Travel internationally as needed to meet prospective clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with international colleagues.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in B2B sales, new business development, or enterprise software sales, ideally within financial services or financial technology.
- A proven track record of acquiring new clients and closing new business, rather than primarily managing existing accounts.
- Experience within FX, Capital Markets, FICC, Treasury, electronic trading, fintech, or financial software.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and key stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to independently build and develop a sales pipeline, from prospect identification through deal closure.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-driven mindset, with a strong motivation to open new doors and win business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Fluency in English is required.
