About the Role

As a Developer, you will help build and evolve MYOB’s payer-facing experiences. You will work across services supporting the online invoice lifecycle and payment processing, focusing on delivering intuitive, secure, and reliable customer experiences. You will collaborate with peers to improve development and DevOps practices, strengthen customer experiences, and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve MYOB’s payer-facing experiences.
Work across services supporting the online invoice lifecycle and payment processing.
Deliver intuitive, secure, and reliable customer experiences.
Support payments, invoicing, and related money movement workflows.
Collaborate with peers to improve development and DevOps practices.
Strengthen customer experiences.
Build hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies.
Empower the team to define, refine, and incrementally achieve a technical vision.
Consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Be the voice of the team ensuring knowledge flows between development teams and the broader MYOB tech community.

Requirements

Strong programming skills across a variety of languages and technologies, including Java or Kotlin, NodeJS, TypeScript, React (modern), and Spring Boot.
Experience in AI coding - such as Cursor (Claude agent), Codex or Copilot being highly valued.
Practical experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, containerisation using Docker, and CI/CD tooling such as Buildkite.
Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative and Agile environment.
Proven capacity to quickly adapt to changing business needs.
Strong dedication to delivering high-quality software to customers on a regular basis.
Ability to empower the team to define, refine, and incrementally achieve a technical vision.
Be the voice of the team ensuring knowledge flows both from development teams to the broader MYOB tech community and vice versa.
