About the Role
As an Accounting Consultant, you'll play a key role in supporting clients across industries, maintaining accurate financials, analyzing budgets, and helping businesses make smart decisions. Working under the guidance of a Senior Consultant, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of accounting functions and industries, all while collaborating with top-tier financial professionals. This is a high-impact, high-learning role where you’ll “wear many hats,” adapt quickly, navigate new challenges, and consistently exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable with accuracy and attention to detail
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure financial integrity
- Forecast short-term cash needs
- Enter monthly journal entries
- Support third-party audits and reviews
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights
- Partner with team members and clients to meet and exceed deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Organizational/analytical skills
- Microsoft Excel familiarity
- Ability to perform account reconciliations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience in various ERPs a plus (QBO, Intacct, Sage, NetSuite)
- Software Accounting experience a plus
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to multi-task, and prioritize “big ticket items”
- Confidence, ambition, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and in team environment
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Candidates must reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment: TX, SC, GA, PA, CA, UT, CO, FL, RI, or MI.
