About the Role
Immutable builds products for game studios, focusing on a marketing data platform and blockchain infrastructure. As a security engineer, you will work across web apps, APIs, cloud platforms, and smart contracts, with a focus on preventing vulnerabilities before production.
Responsibilities
- Own the vulnerability management program, including bug bounties and scanning tool findings, aiming for 90%+ SLA compliance on critical and high issues.
- Manage AI agents that review pull requests for security issues and triage incoming bugs.
- Maintain current threat models and attack graphs as the product evolves.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to review new services and build threat models.
- Fix security issues identified in engineering teams' code.
Requirements
- Demonstrated application security expertise, including identifying, explaining, and fixing vulnerabilities like broken authentication and injection flaws.
- Proficiency as a software engineer capable of shipping production code, including fixes and custom tools.
- Experience building AI tooling, such as agents, automations, or internal tools.
- Solid AWS security experience, including IAM, network controls, secrets management, and misconfigurations.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with engineers.
- Willingness to fix findings rather than just report them.
- Side projects and open source contributions are highly valued.
