About the Role

Fora is seeking a growth marketer to identify and scale new acquisition channels beyond Meta and Google. This player-coach role involves shaping acquisition strategy, launching and managing tests, analyzing results, and optimizing for high-quality advisor signups who book repeat travel. You will be responsible for defining the strategy, launching campaigns, running the experimentation engine, proving incrementality, iterating on creative, managing the operating cadence, building with AI, and raising the bar for testing best practices. The role requires close collaboration with Data, Creative, Product, and Site & Conversion teams, leveraging AI for research, creative development, analysis, and automation. This is a high-impact position crucial for Fora's growth, offering significant career development opportunities and the chance to build and lead a team as the work expands.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the strategy and own your part of it, bringing a strong point of view to acquisition strategy alongside growth leadership.
  • Own the roadmap for your channels, partnerships, and growth bets, including what to test first, investment levels, and scaling decisions.
  • Get hands-on with campaigns, briefs, budgets, and platforms to take channels from first test to sustained investment.
  • Run the experimentation engine with clear hypotheses, success metrics, decision dates, and predefined criteria for scaling, iterating, or killing tests.
  • Increase test velocity every quarter.
  • Partner with Data on holdouts, geo tests, and matched-market tests to prove incrementality.
  • Make investment calls based on incremental impact, LTV, and CAC, not just platform attribution.
  • Partner with Creative and Site & Conversion to test channel-specific assets, offers, and pages, owning the test plan, read, and recommendation.
  • Own daily pacing, weekly scorecards, and monthly cohort and channel reviews, bringing a clear point of view on next steps.
  • Build and run AI agents and automations for reporting, research, creative analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Define testing best practices for the team and serve as the go-to expert on experimentation.
  • Mentor others and direct the work of partners and agencies.
  • Help shape the team and the role's scope as the work grows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in growth or performance marketing at a consumer, marketplace, or technology company.
  • Owned acquisition strategy for a channel or portfolio, including setting budgets and goals, not just execution.
  • Taken at least one new acquisition channel from first test to scaled, sustained investment.
  • Built and run a structured experimentation program, able to detail specific tests, hypotheses, results, and subsequent changes.
  • Designed or run incrementality tests (holdouts, geo, or matched market).
  • Owned or reported on CAC, LTV, and ROAS for a funnel, optimizing for quality over volume.
  • Can name AI tools in your current workflow and an agent or automation you built that is still in use.
  • Coached or mentored other marketers, or set team standards.
  • Led high-visibility, cross-functional initiatives and influenced senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Moves fast and works independently in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
