About the Role
Glitch Productions is seeking a Business Systems Manager to oversee daily operations within the Business Systems department, focusing on workflow improvement and system implementation across all company departments. This role involves project coordination, change management, process documentation, and ensuring adherence to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage delivery schedules and day-to-day priorities for the Business Systems department.
- Coordinate and track Business Systems initiatives and milestones.
- Own and coordinate change management for new systems, processes, and workflows.
- Help prioritize initiatives based on needs, dependencies, urgency, and capacity.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for company standards, operating practices, and new workflows.
- Run the department’s operating cadence, including preparing agendas, capturing decisions, and chasing follow-ups.
- Report on initiative status and system health to the Head of Business Systems.
- Triage incoming requests and tickets for the Business Systems department.
- Audit system and process usage, coordinating necessary fixes, retraining, or updates.
- Help enforce Business Systems governance policies and escalate issues.
Requirements
- Strong experience in project management, operations management, or a similar coordination-focused role.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.
- Experience rolling out new processes, systems, or workflows across a department or organization.
- Strong judgment for prioritizing work, triaging requests, and identifying escalation needs.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable reviewing team operations, identifying inconsistencies, and suggesting improvements.
- Ability to balance thoroughness with speed, ensuring solutions are proportionate to the problem.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of ambiguous or evolving work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with people across different teams and levels.
- Quick to learn new software and comfortable using core company tools daily.
- A practical, process-focused mind with an interest in improving company efficiency.
- An engaging personality, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for making things happen.
