About the Role

The Talent Manager will own and grow relationships with an assigned talent roster and actively recruit new creators to Mythic Talent. This role serves as the primary advocate, strategist, and long-term partner for talent, ensuring they feel supported, valued, and aligned with their goals and Mythic's vision. Success is measured by talent retention and new talent signings.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner and main point of contact for assigned talent.
  • Build long-term relationships grounded in trust and transparency, aligned with each creator's career goals.
  • Maintain regular, proactive communication to understand talent goals, needs, concerns, and feedback.
  • Advocate for talent internally so their needs are clearly communicated and addressed across teams.
  • Handle sensitive conversations, escalations, performance concerns, and strategic planning directly with talent.
  • Work closely with Sales, Campaign Management, and Brand Partners to ensure talent activations are executed flawlessly.
  • Bring talent priorities and feedback back to internal teams to improve processes and offerings.
  • Support long-term career goals, including audience growth, brand positioning, and diversifying revenue streams.
  • Spot and recommend growth opportunities: platform expansion, content strategy, collaborations, and audience engagement.
  • Help talent explore and launch merch, product, or IP-based opportunities with internal teams and external partners.
  • Help talent weigh opportunities strategically, balancing short-term monetization against long-term brand equity.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, platform changes, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain high retention across your roster and manage long-term value to both the talent and Mythic.
  • Run retention strategies: regular check-ins, career planning, and value-add initiatives.
  • Track satisfaction and engagement, and get ahead of churn risks before they escalate.
  • Partner with leadership to keep improving the talent experience.
  • Source, evaluate, and sign new talent aligned with Mythic's brand, values, and strategic priorities.
  • Evaluate prospects on growth trajectory, professionalism, brand safety, and long-term earning potential.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective talent.
  • Own the end-to-end signing process: relationship building, pitching Mythic's value proposition, and onboarding.
  • Lead onboarding so new talent gets a smooth, welcoming, well-structured start.
  • Track the creator landscape, emerging talent, and competitive representation activity.
  • Keep visibility into talent health, deal flow, and coordinator performance across your roster.
  • Give department leadership regular updates on talent performance, pipeline growth, and signings.
  • Uphold Mythic's professional standards, confidentiality, exclusivity policies, and ethical guidelines.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed to meet organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Experience working with various tiers of talent or clients, including high-profile individuals.

  • Provide clear, consistent, and timely communication to talents, teammates, and leadership.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets, including revenue goals, client satisfaction, and talent retention.
