About the Role
As an Accounting Technician, you will play a key role in processing and monitoring financial operations, contributing to the production of reliable financial statements and the achievement of organizational objectives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your accounting expertise in a collaborative environment that values talent development, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Record various transactions in the accounting system
- Perform month-end accounting entries and contribute to the preparation of financial statements
- Carry out various tasks related to cash processing
- Proceed with check issuance
- Respond to requests and support different sectors of the organization
- Perform reconciliation of certain accounting accounts
- Collaborate in the preparation of information for internal and external auditors
- Perform any other related task necessary for the smooth operation of the department
Requirements
- Possess a DEC in administrative techniques, accounting profile
- Accumulate 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Demonstrate great rigor and excellent attention to detail
- Stand out for the ability to effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Be recognized for teamwork and communication skills
- Show autonomy, resourcefulness, and initiative
- Master the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Present any other combination of training and experience deemed relevant
- Beginner level knowledge of the English language is required
