About the Role
As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for writing, testing, and debugging software code, following established coding standards and best practices. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn and contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to existing applications. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug software code using Java, Python and other relevant technologies.
- Participate in the design and implementation of software solutions.
- Write unit tests and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
- Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices.
- Contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or related.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
