About the Role
Heartstrings Pet Hospice provides gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families. This role allows veterinarians to practice medicine without the pace and pressure of a traditional clinic, focusing on providing compassionate end-of-life care in a home setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets.
- Practice medicine independently on the road.
- Support grieving families through difficult moments with kindness and dignity.
- Manage a schedule with a few appointments per day, allowing ample time for each case.
- Choose weekend days off that fit personal life.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates will complete license verification, a background check, and a driving record review.

Salary/Compensations
- Guaranteed compensation ranges from $45,000 to $125,000, depending on schedule.
