About the Role
Heartstrings Pet Hospice provides gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families. We are seeking a Compassionate Veterinarian to practice meaningful medicine without the fast pace and pressure of a traditional clinic, focusing on providing comfort and dignity during end-of-life care.
Responsibilities
- Provide gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets.
- Practice medicine independently on the road.
- Sit on living room floors, answer hard questions with kindness, and help families say goodbye with dignity and peace.
- Manage a schedule with a few appointments a day, allowing time to listen, explain, and honor every pet's story.
- Choose 4 weekend days per month for work.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates will complete license verification, a background check, and a driving record review before their start date.

Salary/Compensations
- Guaranteed compensation ranges from $50,000 to $125,000, depending on schedule.
- Guaranteed Base Salary with NO Negative Accrual
