About the Role
You will join Ennismore's Design & Architecture Department as a Senior Interior Design Manager / Senior Interior Architect. Based at the headquarters in Paris, you will play a key role in developing and executing hotel interior design projects in Europe and internationally, from conception to development monitoring. You will bring your vision, design rigor, and attention to detail to create unique, vibrant, and memorable spaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop interior design projects through all design phases.
- Produce and oversee technical drawings for interior architecture and custom furniture.
- Review, correct, and validate plans and technical documents from companies and partners.
- Actively participate in the creative direction of projects, offering strong, coherent, and innovative proposals.
- Ensure the architectural and decorative quality of projects, respecting the identity of the spaces, technical constraints, budgets, and schedules.
- Source materials, finishes, furniture, and technical solutions consistent with the universe of each project.
- Support concept development by ensuring their proper translation into details, materials, and overall experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal design, development, operations teams, and external consultants.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of deliverables.
- Propose new trends, innovations, know-how, and design references to enrich current and future projects.
- Potentially manage junior designers working on the same or different projects.
Requirements
- Interior architect, architect, or designer background.
- Proven experience in hospitality, hotel, high-end retail, or lifestyle projects.
- Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and well-executed details.
- Ability to transform a creative intention into a concrete, coherent, and achievable project.
- Keen eye for proportions, materials, atmospheres, and technical details.
- Curious and always seeking what's new in design, hospitality, fashion, art, and culture.
- Autonomous, structured, and capable of managing multiple subjects in parallel.
- Team player, able to engage others in your ideas and advance projects with intelligence and good humor.
- Ability to manage junior designers, providing advice, organization, and vision.
- Skill in managing unforeseen events, tight deadlines, and questions from non-designers calmly and effectively.
- Perfect mastery of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and/or Rhino software.
- Comfortable in an international environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
