About the Role
Vince is seeking a dynamic, customer service driven Full-Time Sales Associate responsible for generating sales and building customer relationships in retail stores. The role involves identifying customer needs, maintaining client contact beyond the initial sale, and upholding store visual and housekeeping standards.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals.
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of merchandise features and benefits.
- Identify customer needs and overcome objections.
- Develop client relationships through follow-up contact via phone, email, and written communication.
- Maintain store housekeeping and visual standards.
- Operate POS register and email systems.
- Safeguard store inventory by adhering to loss prevention programs.
- Follow all store operational policies and procedures.
- Manage client book and clienteling.
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales is preferred.
- A sales-driven, goal-oriented individual who is extremely personable.
- Must have a positive, high-energy, friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality.
- Willing to initiate contact with customers and identify their shopping needs.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess computer skills to operate retail POS system, Word, Excel & email.
- Must be able to lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 35 pounds when merchandising the sales floor and use ladders or stairs.
