About the Role

Fanatics Core is seeking a Senior Staff TPM for International Expansion to lead the technical program for launching Fanatics Core into new global markets. This role involves collaborating with senior leaders across various departments and external partners to define market requirements, create a repeatable launch playbook, and ensure platform compliance with regional regulations, data, payments, and localization needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the international launch program from start to finish, leading market launches from assessment through go-live and stabilization.
  • Set the scope, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria for each market launch.
  • Translate regulation into engineering requirements by working with Legal and Compliance to convert market-specific rules into clear technical requirements, including licensing, geolocation, data residency, privacy (e.g., GDPR), KYC/AML, responsible gaming, and audit/reporting.
  • Design a scalable model for market entry, creating a repeatable expansion playbook with reusable architecture patterns, configuration-driven market setup, and standard launch-readiness checklists.
  • Manage vendors and third-party integrations, running technical delivery with external partners and holding them to timelines, SLAs, and compliance obligations.
  • Drive platform readiness by partnering with Core Engineering on multi-region infrastructure, multi-currency and multi-language support, regional payments, tax, and reporting.
  • Ensure launch quality and operational readiness by setting up go-live criteria, cutover plans, hypercare, and post-launch reviews.
  • Align senior stakeholders by building strong relationships and communicating clearly with executives on status, risks, trade-offs, and decisions.
  • Define and report on KPIs that measure expansion progress and health.
  • Mentor other TPMs and help strengthen planning, delivery, and governance practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technical program management experience, including leading large, cross-functional programs at a senior/staff level.
  • 12+ years working directly with software engineering teams on complex, distributed systems.
  • Proven track record launching products or platforms in multiple international markets, ideally in regulated industries.
  • Experience translating regulatory and compliance requirements into technical delivery plans.
  • Experience managing external vendors and third-party technical integrations.
  • Strong technical grounding in cloud platforms, distributed/microservice architectures, and enterprise software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence executives and explain complex technical and regulatory issues to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience running programs with tools such as Jira and Confluence across multiple SDLC methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel, including internationally, for market launches, partner meetings, and team events.
