About the Role

As a Sales Incentive Business Partner, you will design, implement, and manage sales incentive programs that drive sales performance and align with the company’s strategic priorities. You will partner closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and business leaders to understand business objectives, sales strategies, and performance metrics, translating these needs into effective and competitive incentive structures. Serving as a trusted advisor to business units, you will evaluate Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) effectiveness, recommend improvements, and lead annual incentive planning and quota-setting processes. The role also encompasses commission tracking and reporting, sales and project pipeline management, and cross-functional coordination to align sales priorities with production capacity and supply chain considerations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of sales processes, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations. Success requires accurate and timely reporting, disciplined program execution, and proactive stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, HR, and business leaders to align incentive structures with business objectives, sales strategies, and performance expectations.

  • Develop and execute recommendations to improve incentive plan design, administration, and business impact.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business units on sales incentive policies, structures, and performance outcomes.
  • Lead the annual sales incentive planning and quota-setting processes, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs, milestones, approvals, and implementation activities.
  • Support clear communication of incentive plans, quotas, and program changes to stakeholders.
  • Track commission-eligible sales across multiple entities and calculate commissions accurately in accordance with approved local and Schneider Electric (SE) commission structures.
  • Prepare commission reports for Finance and Sales leadership.
  • Provide quarterly payout reporting that highlights payout factors, performance trends, reconciliation to financial accruals, and explanations of outliers.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation supporting commission calculations and payout reporting.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and support consistent application of approved commission structures.
  • Monitor and manage the sales and project pipeline using BFo tools, dashboards, and dedicated tracking files.
  • Coordinate with Forecast Owners on lead times and anticipated supply chain constraints.
  • Prioritize projects using pipeline data and input from Business Development, segment teams, and local stakeholders.
  • Share pipeline updates and incoming projects during weekly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings.
  • Identify potential production peaks or gaps and proactively communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular communication with Forecast Owners and Key Account Managers, with particular attention to VIP customer requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales on priorities and execution.
  • Translate sales, pipeline, and incentive data into clear insights and recommendations for business partners and leadership.
  • Facilitate alignment on business needs, operational constraints, and incentive program outcomes.
  • Manage projects and programs related to incentive planning, commission administration, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Apply process mapping and modeling to identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Support change management, stakeholder communications, and implementation of new or revised programs and processes.
