About the Role
Hillside Honda is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have previous dealership accounting or automotive bookkeeping experience, strong administrative skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager/Controller
- Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
- Costing and posting vehicle deals
- Processing bank deposits/ bank reconciliations
- Funding and paying off vehicles
- Handling dealership paperwork and documentation
- Responding to accounting and administrative inquiries
- Assisting the office team with additional duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous automotive bookkeeping or dealership accounting experience required
- CDK experience is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work effectively with management, sales, service, and other dealership departments
