About the Role
This role is responsible for plant and building maintenance, ensuring efficient and reliable operations for optimized production levels. It requires a high degree of ingenuity to support equipment optimization through corrective/preventative maintenance and the implementation of new products and methods.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for plant and building maintenance as set forth by the facility maintenance manager.
- Follow plant maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance schedule.
- Ensure equipment, tools, and spare parts are accounted for and secured when not in use.
- Participate in preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance at the facility.
- Maintain a spirit of teamwork and productivity among fellow maintenance personnel.
- Maintain qualifications through ongoing training programs for new and existing equipment.
- Ensure the efficient and reliable maintenance of the plant for optimized production levels.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Ensure materials and supplies are available to complete daily assigned maintenance.
- Follow tool control and inventory program to support routine maintenance.
Requirements
- Previous related work experience required.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Must be comfortable working at heights.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
Skills
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of plant maintenance.
- Good working knowledge of electrical, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Team player with positive work attitude.
Education Level
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Salary/Compensations
- $26-30 /hour - competitive salary based on experience
