About the Role
Ardian’s Private Credit team is offering an internship in the London office to assist in the identification, analysis, and execution of potential private credit investments. The team is one of the largest and most active private credit players in Europe, with approximately $10 billion under management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in investment memorandum production, including reviewing diligence and joining diligence calls, memo drafting and financial modelling.
- Assist in management of the team CRM (e.g. deal flow and pipeline tracking).
- Assist in production of minutes following team meetings and investment committees.
- Involvement in portfolio company monitoring and supporting the production of internal updates.
Requirements
- High analytical and intellectual capability.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis and valuation techniques.
- Competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong qualitative and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player.
- Previous roles/internships in Private Equity or Private Credit, M&A/leveraged finance/DCM, Transaction Services team of a leading audit firm, or Strategy consulting would be valuable.
- Other European language skills would also be valuable.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to the role.
- Understand the Individual Conduct Rules set out by the UK Regulator and ensure compliance in letter and in spirit.
