About the Role
The AI Product Leader will focus on product delivery, client engagement, and applied AI strategy, leading concurrent engagements to ensure successful shipping, adoption, and measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Own backlogs, prioritization, and sprint execution across 2-3 engagements.
- Run standups, planning, retros, and cross-team coordination with engineering, design, and data teams.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria, making trade-offs under real constraints.
- Ensure production readiness, including security, compliance, data governance, deployment, and operational runbooks.
- Drive post-launch iteration using user feedback, telemetry, and KPI performance.
- Lead client working sessions and check-ins, steering decision-making with executive and practitioner stakeholders.
- Translate ambiguity into clear plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Own delivery health, including scope, risks, dependencies, and expectation management.
- Partner with the engagement lead/account team on renewals/expansions and executive readouts.
- Help clients choose the right AI approach, including workflow redesign, retrieval, tool use, evaluation strategy, and rollout.
- Design AI evaluation and measurement strategies, including rubrics, golden datasets, offline/online testing, and monitoring plans.
- Make practical architecture-level recommendations with engineers.
- Stay current on model capabilities and limitations to inform realistic product decisions.
Requirements
- Shipped software to production and can demonstrate its performance and impact.
- Ability to run delivery, including budget, backlog, sprints, trade-offs, and stakeholder alignment.
- Fluent in modern GenAI patterns (prompting, RAG basics, evaluation, iteration) with hands-on experience building prototypes or workflows.
- Thrives in ambiguity, making decisions with imperfect information and adapting as learning occurs.
- Client leadership experience, which can include external clients or internal 'enterprise clients' where budget, outcomes, timelines, and executive stakeholders were owned.
- Experience with AI-powered low-code platforms for rapid prototyping and stakeholder demos is a plus.
- AI experience can include GenAI product work or adjacent data/ML product work with hands-on GenAI experimentation in the last 12 months.
- AI/GenAI Product Manager who has also led enterprise delivery and executive stakeholders.
- Engagement Manager/Delivery Lead from a SaaS/AI product company who has shipped software and can perform product thinking.
- Senior Product Owner/TPM with strong stakeholder leadership and clear GenAI build/eval work.
- Experience with evaluation harnesses, red-team testing, or model monitoring in production is a plus.
- Experience in regulated environments (healthcare/finance/insurance) and with security/compliance constraints is a plus.
- Experience with change management, including rollout, enablement, and adoption metrics, is a plus.
- Professional services experience, especially fixed-price or outcome-based delivery, is a plus.
