About the Role
A detail-oriented, experienced Housekeeper is sought to maintain a beautiful home in Austin, Texas, upholding a high standard for cleanliness, organization, and presentation, similar to a hotel.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the home to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Complete daily and detailed cleaning throughout the home, paying close attention to small details.
- Keep all rooms, surfaces, and common areas clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Perform deep cleaning and stay ahead of household upkeep.
- Maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces to a hotel-like standard.
- Handle laundry, folding, ironing, and care of household linens as needed.
- Keep household items and supplies organized and notify the family when supplies need replenishing.
- Assist with preparing the home for guests and maintaining the home during and after hosting.
- Take initiative and proactively identify areas that need attention without waiting for direction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a private home, luxury household, or high-end hospitality setting.
- Flexible and comfortable adjusting the schedule when the family is hosting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for cleanliness.
- Highly organized, thorough, and proactive.
- Takes pride in maintaining a consistently clean and orderly home.
- Able to work independently and manage daily priorities.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of the family's privacy.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.

- Monday–Friday schedule
- Occasional Saturday or Sunday availability when the family is hosting, with a weekday off in exchange
Salary/Compensations
- $34–$40 per hour
