Responsibilities
- Contribute to team strategy, roadmap, tooling process, and culture.
- Scope, design, implement, and deploy robust solutions.
- Make appropriate tradeoffs between reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering velocity, and cost.
- Innovate, design, and implement software solutions to improve infrastructure, resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and management at scale.
- Uphold high engineering standards and improve the overall codebase and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field, plus two (2) years of work experience in software development.
- Two (2) years of experience designing and deploying scalable infrastructure within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Two (2) years of experience with cloud-native networking, compute instances (EC2), and storage solutions for global, high-availability financial services.
- Two (2) years of experience developing software in Go and Ruby for robust distributed systems and internal tooling.
- Two (2) years of experience writing clean, maintainable code to automate infrastructure management and develop core services for microservice architecture.
- Two (2) years of experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies for large-scale server fleets and microservices.
- Two (2) years of experience designing orchestration strategies for system reliability, efficient resource allocation, and seamless deployments.
- Two (2) years of experience designing, building, and debugging high-scale distributed systems using open-source tools.
- Two (2) years of experience analyzing complex system architectures, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven optimizations.
