About the Role
Develop observability and automation of "tools we use" into a true platform capability that supports and empowers every other engineer in the company, making them more productive. Take ownership of our observability stack, driving Prometheus, Grafana, and Forgejo forward. Evolve these tools into a world-class monitoring ecosystem. Design meaningful and actionable alerts and define SLOs to move from reactive "firefighting" to proactive stability. Evaluate and implement modern open-source alternatives to proprietary software. Integrate security engineering directly into our development and delivery process. Identify vulnerabilities before penetration testing does. Dive deep into Linux systems and distributed tools, combining bold experimentation with a rock-solid production environment.
