Responsibilities

  • Analyze lending portfolios segmented by geographic region, monitoring lending tiers and related risk indicators.
  • Assess portfolio performance trends, concentrations, and emerging risks, including analysis of internal credit risk indicators.
  • Monitor and analyze macroeconomic and regional factors to assess their impact on lending portfolio risk and tiering assumptions.

  • Lead periodic review and validation of lending tiers and segmentation methodologies, recommending tier upgrades/downgrades.
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports and dashboards on lending portfolio performance, regional trends, and key risk metrics.
  • Support the development of executive-ready materials for Risk leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used in analytics and reporting.
  • Partner with first-line lending, credit, and business teams to validate data inputs, clarify assumptions, and gather insights.
  • Provide independent challenge and recommend tiering updates where appropriate.
  • Act as a Risk point of contact for analytical inquiries related to lending portfolios and tiering.
  • Contribute documentation and analysis required for internal reviews, audits, or regulatory requests.
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes, controls, and data quality.
  • Support automation, standardization, and reporting enhancements, including the use of AI tools.
  • Design, build, and maintain agentic workflows and automations using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
  • Apply emerging AI and automation capabilities responsibly, ensuring alignment with the Bank's risk, governance, data, and model risk controls.
  • Contribute to broader risk transformation initiatives that strengthen analytical capability and scalability across the Risk function.
