About the Role
As a Tactical Security Guard, your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly is paramount. Physical ability is essential as you will be patrolling various environments throughout your shift.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the property and maintain a visible security presence.
- Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and alarms.
- Use de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts professionally.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.
- Complete accurate reports and use computer-based reporting systems.
- Follow site procedures and support the Team Lead with daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, emergency responders, and your team.
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment every day.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (WSIB approved)
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and patrol for up to 12 hours.
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
