About the Role
The Scarsdale Dentist is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and possess the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat patients
- Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
- Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
- Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
- Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
- Enter treatment plans
- Take x-rays as needed
- Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
- Take alginates/pour and trim models
- Package and sterilize instruments
- Keep operatory fully stocked
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Superior customer service skills
- Willingness to learn & grow

- Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Scarsdale, NY
- Available to work during current office hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
- Dental Office Experience (Preferred)
- Dentrix Ascend software experience (Preferred)
- X-Ray and ICE Certification (Preferred)
