About the Role
The David Yurman Internship Program in New York City is a paid 9-week immersive experience designed for students and emerging professionals passionate about the luxury jewelry industry. This exclusive program offers interns the opportunity to work closely with expert teams across various departments, gaining hands-on experience in crafting exquisite jewelry, understanding luxury branding, and learning operational aspects of a world-renowned brand. Set in NYC, interns will also have access to networking events, mentorship, and industry insights.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the events and experiential marketing team.
- Manage event logistics and execution, including researching vendors, managing invitations, securing catering, and coordinating experiential elements.
- Monitor and manage the invitation process for all retail and wholesale events.
- Maintain and build vendor contact sheets, researching vendors to ensure they meet brand standards.
- Assist with event logistics for Market Weeks, including researching venues, organizing hospitality, and coordinating catering, staffing, and décor.
- Collaborate with the legal team on commercial co-venture and talent appearance agreements.
- Process and file invoices, reconcile expenses, and code costs to the budget.
- Provide on-site support for retail, wholesale, and branding events.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and collaborative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
