About the Role
Drive the strategy and roadmap for digital products and experiences that shape how the world interacts with Jane Street, including the company website, Figgie, and a range of recruiting and internal applications. Partner closely with cross-functional teams and be a hands-on user of all shipped products.
Responsibilities
- Manage product lifecycle, strategy, and roadmap for digital products.
- Translate fuzzy ideas from internal partners into clear, well-scoped projects.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for new products and experiences.
- Drive rapid prototyping and iterate based on user feedback.
- Perform ongoing QA, identifying regressions, edge cases, and bugs.
- Collaborate with recruiters, designers, engineers, and external vendors to align priorities.
- Communicate clearly through specs, status updates, and release notes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience shipping consumer-facing or internal digital products as a PM.
- Experience across apps and web, and the full product lifecycle.
- Understand web and app development to partner effectively with engineers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in scoping vague requests and identifying key priorities.
- Comfort operating across a product portfolio and context-switching.
- Willingness to contribute to adjacent initiatives.
- Bias towards shipping and user feedback.
- Attention to detail and a drive for quality.
- Experience working with external agencies, contractors, or vendors is a plus.
- Hands-on prototyping skills (Figma, low-code tools, light scripting) are a plus.
