About the Role
Road Runner Sports is seeking a Marketing Project & Production Manager to oversee the operational framework for marketing initiatives. This role ensures campaigns, events, and launches are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining alignment across all teams and channels from concept to completion. The position involves managing Asana as the primary system, leading project management for key events like the LA Marathon and RRS Apparel launch, and developing workflows to support a high-performing marketing organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the integrated production calendar across all marketing channels, ensuring accuracy and timely lock-downs.
- Lead end-to-end project management for major events and launches, including the LA Marathon activation, RRS Apparel launch, store openings, and cross-functional programs.
- Serve as the Asana administrator, building and managing workspace structure, templates, automations, and dashboards for project visibility.
- Manage production timelines for creative, copy, photography, print, and in-store assets, including routing reviews and consolidating feedback.
- Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks by diagnosing issues and implementing solutions such as new workflows or templates.
- Act as a liaison between Creative, channel owners, Merchandising, Retail, and E-commerce teams to ensure cross-functional execution stays on track.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in marketing project management, traffic, or production within retail, omnichannel, agency, or in-house brand teams.
- Advanced Asana experience, including building and administering workspaces with projects, templates, rules, and reporting.
- Experience in event or product-launch project management involving external vendors and budgets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple print and digital campaigns simultaneously against strict deadlines.
- Working knowledge of the production process, including creative briefs, proofing, print specifications, and asset delivery.
- Clear and direct communication skills, with the ability to uphold process and deadlines while maintaining strong relationships.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
