About the Role
This role is responsible for assisting and ensuring the night audit procedures are completed on a nightly basis and ensuring the safety and security of the complex in the absence of Senior Management.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Front of House Operations during the Night shift, including ensuring adequate staffing levels in all departments.
- Support Night Auditors and Reception to maintain high standards at the Reception Desk.
- Ensure market segment, nationalities, and rates are correctly tracked and posted.
- Ensure all rooms are saleable and assist as required to maximize availability.
- Assist with lobby traffic management to minimize disturbances.
- Organize and control the administration and operation of book-outs when required.
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task.
- Capacity to proactively manage the operation.
- Knowledge of Opera, H&S, and large hotel operations.
- Skill in communication, guest service, and leadership.
