  • Translate business needs into technology transformation requirements.
  • Deliver solutions that improve operational performance.
  • Conduct manufacturing and supply-chain assessments across plants, functions, and business units.
  • Analyze planning, procurement, production, inventory, and engineering processes to identify performance and digitalization opportunities.
  • Structure ambiguous growth, innovation, operations, and automation problems into clear workplans, hypotheses, and decision points.
  • Build strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-suite leaders, facilitate strategic discussions, and communicate recommendations with clarity and credibility.
  • Redesign end-to-end processes across demand planning, S&OP, procurement, MRP, production planning, materials management, and order fulfillment.
  • Support transformations in make-to-stock and complex manufacturing environments.
  • Conduct market, customer, competitor, financial, operational, process, manufacturing, and technology analyses to identify insights, value opportunities, and implementation constraints.
  • Evaluate and help implement enterprise platforms, including ERP/MRP, PLM, MOM/MES, and planning/analytics/visibility tools.
  • Develop future-state processes, operating models, solution architectures, technology roadmaps, and implementation plans.
  • Facilitate interviews, process walkthroughs, shop-floor observations, workshops, and working sessions to align stakeholders, validate pain points, pressure-test options, and support adoption.
  • Build business cases and quantify impact across cost, inventory, service, throughput, and productivity.
  • Contribute to client development, Advanta offerings, thought leadership, recruiting, and junior colleague development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Relevant expertise in at least two areas: S&OP, demand planning, MRP, procurement, inventory management, production planning, automation, lean business-process reengineering.
  • Familiarity with Siemens' technology stack (or equivalent) and industrial software ecosystem.
  • 5+ years of experience working on manufacturing performance initiatives (e.g. Toyota Production Systems, kaizen methods, TPM, JIT, SMED, and/or quality and compliance).
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to ~50% (varies by project).
