About the Role

You’ll work side by side with teams across marketing, operations, and data, and see the impact of your work in the real world, fast. We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our Onboarding team. The Onboarding team owns the main entry points of consumers for OEGB, focusing on improving the current journeys and working in new projects impacting thousands of customers everyday. They work in a very open and fast-moving environment, focusing on the user experience with a strong human touch to everything they do. Onboarding is also a very collaborative team, working together with other developers and teams, strengthening our tech stack and influencing which paths OE takes in its tech journey. We embrace flat hierarchies and an open, agile culture that fosters innovation, flexibility, and creativity. We don’t hang our personalities up with our coats and nor should you. Responsibilities
- Owning the development cycle from request and requirements gathering to technical proposal, execution, deployment, and monitoring.
- Tackling large-scale tasks individually.
- Developing websites that meet strong accessibility guidelines.
- Building scalable, performant sites that handle high levels of traffic well.
- Improving current onboarding journeys and working on new projects impacting thousands of customers daily.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with the specified stack.
- Experience taking problems and developing strong solutions rather than following strict guidelines.
- An empathetic approach to delegating work and collaborating with others.
