About the Role
Odeko is seeking individuals to support warehouse operations, focusing on order picking, inventory management, and package assembly. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient fulfillment and supporting the company's mission to champion independent food establishments.
Responsibilities
- Using an RF scanner, identify and pull items to build customer orders
- Move boxes weighing up to 60 pounds throughout the fulfillment center
- Operate a hand truck, pallet jack, or electric pallet jack to move inventory
- Ascend a platform ladder to pull customer items
- Assemble customer packages
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and inspecting items
- Assist with the loading and unloading of merchandise and non-inventory in and out of delivery vehicles, trucks, and vans
- Perform all tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of Picking/Packing, Inventory, or Fulfillment experience
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, order pickers, pallet jacks, etc.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and stocking items
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow
- Individuals who can handle the physical demands of the job while maintaining accuracy in their tasks
Skills
- Familiarity with inventory management systems like AS400 is a plus
