About the Role
As a Data Analyst RSE (Green Data), you will be at the intersection of data engineering and sustainability. You will ensure the environmental footprint is managed with the same rigor as financial data, within a modern Cloud environment (GCP / BigQuery).
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and industrialize data pipelines to collect, clean, and consolidate heterogeneous CSR data (energy bills, professional travel, purchases, logistics flows).
- Model, transform, and aggregate data flows in a Cloud environment (GCP / BigQuery) using advanced SQL queries.
- Integrate carbon accounting methodologies (GHG Protocol Scopes 1, 2, and 3) and apply appropriate emission factors (Base Empreinte ADEME) directly into data models.
- Ensure auditability, quality, and traceability of CO2e indicators to meet regulatory requirements (especially CSRD) and extra-financial audits.
- Collaborate closely with CSR, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to translate operational activities into reliable environmental impact metrics.
- Provide ready-to-use datasets to feed decision-making reporting tools and carbon management dashboards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in complex data engineering, preparation, and modeling.
- Essential mastery of advanced SQL and solid practice in an analytical Cloud environment, ideally GCP (BigQuery).
- Mastery of carbon accounting standards: GHG Protocol (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), Bilan Carbone® methodology, and use of emission factor databases (Base Empreinte ADEME).
- Knowledge of regulatory and extra-financial reporting frameworks, particularly CSRD.
- Methodological rigor and attention to detail to design transparent and reproducible calculation flows.
- Strong listening skills, pedagogical approach, and curiosity to bridge technical data rigor with strategic CSR challenges.
