About the Role

Vertex is seeking individuals for the International Insights, Analytics and Commercial Operations (IIACO) team to support commercial capabilities and drive sustainable growth in the International region. This role offers exposure to large-scale datasets, statistical analysis, reporting automation, AI applications, CRM systems, field execution metrics, digital marketing, and omnichannel engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

Support the development of commercial analytics, forecasting, and Key Performance Indicator reporting.
Gain exposure to large-scale datasets, statistical analysis, and reporting automation.
Support field forces by leveraging the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Analyze data and report on the impact of customer-facing activities.
Drive the development and execution of digital marketing and omnichannel engagement strategies and tactics.
Utilize digital channels (e.g., emails and websites) in a promotional setting.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a life science, business, or mathematics-related university qualification (e.g., Biology, Data Science, Marketing, Business Management, Economics).
Studying a university qualification which incorporates an Industrial Placement as a formal, accredited part of their studies.
Interest in the pharmaceutical industry.
Must be independently motivated and a strong team player.
Evidence of project management and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrated analytical abilities.
Excellent MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint expertise.
Ability in presentation design and delivery.
