About the Role

HPC-Industrial is seeking a Chemical Cleaning Technician to join their safety-conscious team. This physically intensive position involves responsibilities such as confined space entry, working at heights, and operating various types of equipment in demanding industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up cleaning equipment including pumps, hoses, and circulators according to schematics, training, guidelines, and safety procedures.
Monitor equipment during circulation for integrity and efficiency.
Perform chemical injection and mixing activities under supervision.
Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including wearing and maintaining personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, hot, and cold industrial environments.
Maintain and perform pre-maintenance on equipment.
Assist in installing, fixing, and repairing valves, caps, hoses, pump gaskets, and other equipment.
Inspect equipment, hoses, pumps, connections, chemical circulators, and work areas before starting jobs, reporting any deficiencies to supervisors.

Requirements

Must be fit for duty at all times.
Must be able to travel for extended periods.
Possess a valid driver's license or identification card.
Ability to respond to emergency calls 24/7.
Ability to work for extended periods in confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and at high elevations.
Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
Physically capable of performing all assigned duties.
Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 50 lbs.
Physically capable of continuous standing and/or walking.
Physically capable of continuous climbing, bending/stooping, and kneeling.
