About the Role
Serve as the bridge between education and employment by coaching job seekers and building relationships with local employers to create life-changing opportunities. Work directly with students and recent graduates to prepare them for the job market while developing a network of hiring employer partners. This is a relationship-driven role where success comes from connecting the right people with the right opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one career coaching and job search assistance to students and graduates
- Deliver workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and professional development
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities
- Develop a pipeline of qualified job opportunities aligned with graduate skills and training
- Coordinate job fairs, employer visits, and on-campus recruiting events
- Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain contact until successful placement
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with accreditation standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in recruiting, career services, sales, or related field
- Strong communication skills--comfortable speaking to groups and on the phone
- Relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new technology platforms
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting performance targets
