Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, period adjustments, and booking verification.
- Prepare and review variance analyses based on actual, planned, and forecast figures.
- Maintain and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports for Sales and Marketing.
- Participate in forecasting and planning processes.
- Verify invoices and costs, and clarify open questions with relevant departments.
- Document closing steps for structured handover.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration or Economics, further qualification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in controlling or accounting, particularly with month-end and year-end closing.
- Proficient in SAP FI/CO, especially in cost centers, internal orders, and reporting.
- Very good Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data reconciliation.
- Independent, structured, and reliable work style with the ability to be immediately effective after a brief onboarding.
