About the Role
As Strategy Analyst in the Founder’s Office, you will own ClearGrid’s strategic analysis, including pricing, market research, competitive intelligence, and insight generation for board, investor, and client meetings. You will collaborate across departments, utilizing all company data and leadership access to answer critical business questions and translate findings into actionable recommendations. This role reports directly to the founder and is based in the Dubai office.
Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic business intelligence, including pricing analysis, market and expansion research, and competitive landscaping.
- Investigate and explain business performance drivers by analyzing data, call recordings, and team interactions.
- Develop clear recommendations for leadership regarding collections, compliance, resourcing, and commercial decisions.
- Prepare decks, reports, and analyses for board, investor, and client meetings.
- Perform cross-client performance comparisons to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Design and measure experiments.
- Undertake strategic projects from the Founder’s Office based on shifting company priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, business analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency with modern analytics and AI tooling, including BI dashboards (e.g., Tableau) and AI tools for analysis acceleration.
- Demonstrated structured problem-solving skills using sound business frameworks.
- Strong qualitative research abilities, including call reviews and stakeholder/customer interviews.
- Experience building board- and client-ready decks and presenting confidently to executives.
- Sound business acumen to identify critical questions beyond obvious conclusions.
- Adaptable and self-directed work ethic.
- SQL proficiency is a plus.
- Experience with experiment/A-B test design is a plus.
- Fintech or collections experience is a plus.
- Arabic language skills are a plus.
