About the Role
Alfa is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead client implementations of Alfa Systems, ensuring successful delivery of projects and supporting team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Alfa consultants supporting a client implementation of Alfa Systems.
- Accountable for the successful completion of Alfa deliverables within required timescales.
- Supervise and support team members.
- Work closely with the client, team, and broader Alfa company to ensure success.
- Lead a workstream within a larger implementation project, reporting into the Senior Project Manager.
- Act as the overall Alfa lead for a smaller active implementation or a customer upgrading to a newer version, reporting into the Client Account Director.
- Act as the overall Alfa lead for a larger and more complex implementation of Alfa Systems, overseeing multiple work-streams and teams, and reporting into the Client Account Director.
- Manage Alfa deliverables and lead the Alfa project team within a broader enterprise software implementation program.
- Work with the customer to plan the program, ensuring delivery methodologies are applied appropriately.
- Track progress of Alfa deliverables against the plan, monitoring and managing scope, budget, and timeline.
- Communicate project status internally and to the customer, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Work closely with the customer and software engineering teams to ensure new Alfa Systems features are delivered within program timescales.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies; create and action mitigation plans.
- Estimate resourcing required for successful deliverable completion.
- Request sufficient and appropriate resources to support customer needs.
- Support, develop, and evaluate team members.
- Build and maintain an engaged and motivated team, prioritizing a healthy work-life balance.
- Develop strong and trusting relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for additional Alfa professional services and features.
- Develop a strong internal network at Alfa.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies.
- Incorporate industry best practices, prior work experience, and learnings into delivery methodologies and L&D programs.
Requirements
- Experience leading major deliverables within an enterprise software implementation program.
- Detailed knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and enterprise software implementation.
- Proven people management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience working on an Alfa implementation.
- Experience in the auto finance/equipment finance field.
