About the Role

Develop, implement, support, and optimize customer requirements, software architectures, frameworks, and products within the SAP Solution Manager environment. Focus on technologies like Change and Transport System (gCTS, cCTS, CTS+, cTMS), Business Objects (BOL/GenIL, BOPF, RAP), User Interfaces (SAP WebClient UI, SAP UI5/Fiori, ABAP Webdynpro), interfaces (OData, Webservice, RFC), and ABAP/ABAP OO. Take on project management responsibilities or support consultants in development and consulting projects. Current key areas include git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS), SAP WebClient UI extensions, and OData interfaces between SAP Solution Manager and Jira + ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

Conceive, realize, support, and optimize individual customer requirements, software architectures, frameworks, or products in the SAP Solution Manager environment.
Work with various technologies including Change and Transport System (gCTS, cCTS, CTS+, cTMS), Business Objects (BOL/GenIL, BOPF, RAP), User Interfaces (SAP WebClient UI, SAP UI5/Fiori, ABAP Webdynpro), interfaces (OData, Webservice, RFC), and ABAP / ABAP OO.
Undertake (partial) project management for development projects or support consultants in consulting projects.
Focus on git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS), SAP WebClient UI extensions, and OData interfaces between SAP Solution Manager and Jira + ServiceNow.

Requirements

Approximately 3-5 years of profound knowledge and experience in object-oriented software development in ABAP / ABAP OO, ideally SAP Solution Manager or SAP CRM.
Initial exposure to ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), SAP UI5/Fiori, HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), SAP Cloud ALM, and Jira.
Understanding of topics such as SCRUM, DevOps, ITIL, and ALM, particularly the end-to-end processes “Request-to-Deploy (R2D)” and “Detect-to-Correct (D2C)”.
Independent and self-responsible.
Enjoys challenging tasks and brilliant solutions.
Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
