About the Role

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Market Product Leader to define and drive the product strategy for Corporate Treasury solutions in North America and EMEA. This role is crucial for understanding the operational realities of corporate treasurers, including banking infrastructure, regulatory environments, and existing systems, to guide product development and market penetration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and extend EMEA Corporate Treasury market analysis, including total addressable market, serviceable addressable market, and captured share.
  • Segment the market by buying behavior and treasury operating models.
  • Define and own requirements for operating cash and liquidity management, multi-bank connectivity, cash pooling, forecasting, short-term investments, and debt servicing.
  • Own accounting and disclosure requirements, including IFRS 9, IFRS 7, IFRS 9 hedge accounting, and local GAAP variations.
  • Own requirements for investment policy compliance, controls, approvals, and regional regulatory obligations like EMIR reporting.
  • Translate capability gaps into a prioritized product roadmap, sequencing delivery in stages.
  • Partner with R&D/Engineering to size work, confirm capacity, and agree on sequencing.
  • Make and defend build, buy, or partner recommendations with business cases.
  • Identify capability bets that serve multiple asset owner markets.
  • Represent client and market context in solutioning discussions.
  • Define the ideal client profile and target list for Sales.
  • Own market positioning, messaging, and the competitive narrative.
  • Handle complex competitive relationships where competitors may also be partners or integration points.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales on pricing, packaging, and commercial constructs.
  • Build enablement for Sales and Client Services, and support strategic pursuits.
  • Run win/loss analysis and feed insights back into the roadmap and positioning.
  • Build direct relationships with corporate treasurers, banks, consultants, and advisors.
  • Represent Clearwater at industry events and in analyst conversations.
  • Maintain a view of competitors, adjacent providers, and systems Clearwater displaces.
  • Own the health of the installed EMEA Corporate Treasury base, focusing on satisfaction, retention, and concession pressure.
  • Partner with Client Services to address recurring pain points.
  • Report market performance to leadership regularly, including deviations from the plan and remediation actions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in product management, market strategy, or commercial leadership in treasury technology, transaction banking, or investment technology.
  • Deep working knowledge of European and wider EMEA corporate treasury, including cash and liquidity management, multi-bank and cross-border connectivity, short-term investment, debt and capital markets activity, and treasury reporting.
  • Familiarity with the treasury management system landscape and displacing incumbent systems.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a market, segment, or product line with accountability for revenue growth.
  • Strong quantitative instincts and ability to build and defend market sizing, segmentation, and penetration analysis from primary data.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with engineers on technical scope, architecture trade-offs, and sequencing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or investment management technology preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
