About the Role
LIFTED is making strength training simple, effective, and accessible to everyone. Our 45-minute, coach-led group classes combine smart technology with personal coaching. As we expand, we are seeking a Construction Manager (Interior Fit-out) to join our expansion team and oversee the fit-out of our studios from construction to completion.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of our plans on the construction site.
- Collaborate closely with internal architects, executing trades, and our assembly team.
- Ensure each new studio is completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality.
- Coordinate multiple construction sites simultaneously, maintaining an overview and ensuring smooth integration of planning and execution.
- Maintain an overview of execution plans, specifications, and awarded contracts.
- Understand which trade is responsible for which services and keep track of the construction site.
- Translate the construction schedule into concrete work steps.
- Coordinate temporal dependencies between trades and ensure smooth workflow.
- Plan upcoming work steps and ensure materials, plans, information, and necessary preliminary work are available on time.
- Pragmatically adjust workflows in case of on-site changes.
- Act as the central point of contact on the construction site, clarifying technical questions and conveying necessary information.
- Provide clear and solution-oriented guidance to our assembly and fitting-out team as well as the involved trades.
- Take measurements, assess on-site conditions, and adapt planned installations to actual room conditions.
- Control execution, identify defects, and accompany acceptances.
- Identify planning gaps, ambiguities, and obstacles early on.
- Find practical solutions and adjust the work sequence if necessary.
- Assist with hands-on work when needed to ensure timely and proper completion.
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a carpenter or extensive project management experience in carpentry or interior fit-out.
- Experience in coordinating interior fit-out projects or independently implementing projects.
- Ability to take measurements, assess execution quality, identify defects, and control proper implementation on-site.
- Understanding of specifications and execution plans, translating them into concrete work steps and realistic daily schedules.
- Ability to maintain an overview of workflows, schedules, and trades, ensuring smooth collaboration among all project participants.
- Ability to react quickly to changes, adapt to new situations, and make sound decisions under time pressure.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly, clear, and binding manner with tradespeople and all other project participants.
- Possession of a driver's license.
- Willingness to travel regularly to on-site locations.
- Very good German language skills and confident communication in a professional context.
