About the Role
Remilia Corporation is seeking engineers to build products and systems, specifically focusing on the development of 'RemiliaNET', an integrated identity platform that serves as the foundation for a community-centric social network and ecosystem. This role involves designing new social experiences and implementing them with actual technology and products.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the hiring process for the Korean engineering team, including technical evaluation and team member selection.
- Contribute to the technical growth and collaborative culture of the Korean team through onboarding new engineers.
- Design and implement core RemiliaNET features and related systems, such as user profiles, real-time chat, social graphs, timelines, and content feeds.
- Analyze technical issues within assigned functions and systems, proactively participating in design and implementation decisions to enhance technical completeness and quality.
- Improve development quality and maintainability through code reviews, technical feedback, and codebase improvements, establishing technical standards within the team.
- Support the technical growth of fellow engineers by fostering a development environment that encourages knowledge sharing and technical feedback.
- Collaborate with the US Lead Architect and the US engineering team on architecture, technical decisions, and the codebase, conducting cross-team code reviews.
Requirements
- Over 4 years of practical software development experience.
- Experience in developing production systems and launching/operating actual products or services.
- Deep practical expertise in backend systems and relational data modeling.
- Ability to independently analyze and solve complex technical problems.
- Willingness to take responsibility for technical decisions and code quality in their area of ownership while continuing hands-on development.
- Ability to support the technical growth of other engineers through code reviews, technical feedback, and mentoring.
- Proactive participation in the expansion and growth of the Korean engineering team, and collaboration with colleagues to develop development culture and working methods.
- Ability to work autonomously in an asynchronous communication environment with global teams.
