About the Role
Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. Your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth financial analyses to identify growth drivers to influence business activity.
- Provide management with clear insights and recommendations into the business, market trends, risks and opportunities leading to business enhancement and sales actions, collaborating with other finance analysts.
- Maintain data pipelines and dashboards using SQL and internal sales tools (e.g. connect sales) to deliver accurate insights.
- Assist in automating manual reporting processes using AI tools.
- Drive efficiency and accuracy in critical finance processes including weekly trading reviews, revenue forecasting and quota setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance and management consulting.
- Experience in analytics, spreadsheets, SQL, and working with data.
