- Help manufacturers adopt AI practically, securely, and commercially.
- Lead the commercial conversation from qualification through proposal and close.
- Understand business operations, technology friction points, decision-making processes, and success metrics.
- Collaborate with technical specialists, solution architects, and delivery teams while owning the client relationship and sales process.
- Translate cybersecurity, AI, cloud, and managed services into outcomes that resonate with business leaders.
- Write clear, commercially credible proposals outlining the business case for change.
- Ensure smooth handovers into implementation post-sale.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in consultative B2B sales, solution consulting, or technology consulting.
- Experience selling into manufacturing businesses or working directly within manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
- Experience with managed services, manufacturing technology, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, ERP systems, infrastructure, or operational technology.
- Confidence engaging with Managing Directors, Business Owners, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Operations Managers, Production Managers, and IT decision-makers.
- Strong discovery skills and discipline to qualify opportunities properly.
- Excellent written communication and proposal development skills.
- Sufficient technical curiosity to understand AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and manufacturing systems.
- High commercial standards.
- Understanding that selling into manufacturing requires trust, reliability, and relationship building.
- Understanding the consequences of production downtime beyond technical issues.
- Natural curiosity about AI and its application in work.
- Experience with manufacturing technologies such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NetSuite, MYOB Advanced, Pronto Xi, Epicor, Infor, or other ERP, manufacturing execution, and production management platforms is highly regarded but not essential.
