About the Role
Community College Preparatory Academy (CCPrep) seeks a Marketing and Communications Manager to tell CCPrep’s story with clarity, dignity, and evidence, building awareness among prospective students, partners, supporters, and the broader community. Clear and trusted communications are vital for learners to find programs, understand next steps, celebrate achievements, and remain connected to opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute an integrated communications calendar across web, email, social, print, media, and events.
- Develop accessible, audience-centered content grounded in verified facts and respectful student storytelling.
- Manage brand standards, approvals, digital assets, website content, and campaign production.
- Partner with Admissions on ethical enrollment communications and with Academics on program information.
- Track reach, engagement, referral, inquiry, conversion, and reputation indicators.
- Prepare crisis and issue communications in coordination with executive leadership.
- Create communications that reflect adult learners’ cultures, backgrounds, abilities, and aspirations; use clear, accessible formats that help learners act on education and career choices.
- Gather voluntary learner feedback to improve program information and communications; offer meaningful opportunities for learner voice with informed consent for public storytelling.
- Work with academic staff to communicate expectations, support options, milestones, and next steps in ways that build confidence and learner agency.
- Use verified evidence when describing learner outcomes; report campaign participation and conversion separately from claims about assessed academic growth.
- Use inclusive, bias-aware, and accessible communication that reflects CCPrep’s commitment to learner well-being; engage stakeholders in shaping and communicating institutional priorities.
- Create reliable information structures that help learners and staff understand opportunities, expectations, supports, and changes.
- Manage CCPrep’s approved communications ecosystem—including website content-management and hosting, Mailchimp or comparable email tools, Canva, social-media management and advertising platforms, QR-code tools, and related analytics—using institutional accounts, documented permissions, editorial controls, and accessible content standards.
